Early this afternoon Hailey and I had our first "conversation." Hailey has been making some very limited cooing sounds for the last three weeks. There have even been a few times that I would say something or make a noise and she would coo back. Today was different. We went back and forth for almost ten minutes. It was a lot of fun and we both smiled a lot during this exchange.
Later this afternoon Hailey's Grandpa Bruce visited Hailey. This evening Grandma Rachel and Grandpa Ken came over to babysit so we could go out for our Valentine's dinner. When we got back from the restaurant, the four of us spent some time looking at photo albums from Christine's side of the family, comparing the photos to Hailey.
