Hailey slept better than we did as we were worried about her. Eventually at 7am, even though she had not begun to stir, we decided to check on her. Staring at the motion detector on her monitor is reassuring only to a certain point. Thankfully her fever was gone.
She has not quite been herself today. At times she has insisted on being held, which is rare these days. At other times she wanted nothing to do with us, playing in a corner by herself.
This evening the smiles are more abundant and the crying has all but stopped.
