Hailey had a session with her teacher today. She said twenty different words during the hour. Looking over the list there were no surprises but having her say them to her teacher, rather than just to us and Grandma and Grandpa is a good sign. She is very shy when it comes to talking to any stranger and even many times with her teacher who has seen her twenty times in the last nine months.
Hailey's big blue car needs new batteries. Tonight when she turned it on the lights started to blink and it made a weird sound that did not stop until we switched it off. Hailey's reaction: "uh-oh."
Hailey let Christine cut all of her fingernails tonight while fully awake. Hailey was quite scared. After each nail she would pull her hand away and need to be talked into letting the next fingernail be cut. After the fingers, Christine tried to move onto the toes but Hailey would not allow that.
Logan seems determined to make us find the time to steam clean our carpets. He had carrots again tonight, and again the spray cleaner needed to come out of the cupboard to deal with his little spit ups.
