Hailey and I made our biggest Friday outing yet as we headed to the Minnesota Zoo by ourselves. The forecast called for the rain to hold off until noon so I hoped we could get in a decent stroller walk before that.
Unfortunately, as we traveled south to the zoo it began to pour. The rain let up some after we got there so we headed in. We spent a little time in the indoor exhibits and then ventured outside with just a light mist. At times it seemed like we had the whole zoo to ourselves, although more people trickled in as the morning went on. Hailey's stroller rain tarp came in handy as the mist never stopped and occasionally it came down a little harder than that.
This longer trip also allowed me to change her in a public restroom for the first time. It was not as bad as I had feared and the plastic pull down changing table was enough of a new experience for Hailey that she was actually much more cooperative than usual.
