This morning, for the first time Hailey opened a door. She got her bedroom door open but didn't get any further because the gate was also closed. This has a looking over the house again to evaluate our toddler proofing.
Also this morning Hailey said her first three word sentence: Reach, Light, On. She was trying to reach her toothbrush to turn on the light inside the brush.
Christine was showing Hailey pictures on the camera this morning when Hailey started saying "you" whenever she saw herself. That makes sense since we point and say "that's you." Now we are doing our best to explain the whole me and you concept but it turns out to be harder to describe than you might think.
Later at Grandma and Grandpa's Hailey had another session with her teacher. Next week we have another six month planning meeting to discuss what happens next with these sessions.
