Two Years at Home

With Hailey there are a lot of "anniversaries" but this is one of the best. Two years ago today she came home from the hospital. We are so blessed that she has remained healthy and has never had to go back (except for routine follow-ups).

Hailey has discovered the advertisements for other books on the back of her books. This morning she was looking at the back of her Pajama Time book in her room. She saw the tiny picture of another book she has, Barnyard Dance, and started saying "Barn Dance."

Hailey was so talkative at breakfast that Grandma started counting the words. In all Hailey said 40 different words in 90 minutes. The last time Grandma decided to count was in August. At that time Hailey said 20 over the course of the entire day.

This evening Hailey walked up the entire flight of stairs. Neither knee touched a single step.

Tonight our local ice cream shop held their annual pajama party. Free ice cream if you show up in your PJ's. We took the kids over to celebrate Hailey's two years at home. Hailey got her free cone of Cake Batter ice cream. She loved it!

Logan had a taste as well but was not a big fan. Hailey did not get any sugar until the cake on her first birthday but we could not resist seeing what his reaction would be to the ice cream.
