Hailey's bedroom now has a gate. With her new found mobility we needed to keep her in her bouncer these last few weeks when we were getting ready in the morning. Some mornings that worked fine as she got in a nap. Other mornings the bouncer got in the way of her play time plans. So, the first gate in our house went up last night in her door frame. She got to see it up close for the first time this morning. While I was not looking forward to seeing her trapped behind a steel cage, I know she likes it a lot better than being trapped in a chair.
Hailey's mobility has a new direction - up! Using the pillow we put in front of the entertainment center to protect her, Hailey is now managing to get up on her knees and attempting to push the buttons on the TiVo. A purchase of Plexiglas is in our immediate future.
