Today Hailey visited the Minnesota Zoo for the first time. We went with Charity, one of Hailey's primary nurses, and her family. Hailey had a good time alternating between being alert and happy or dozing off. It was not until this evening that the lack of true naps caused her to get a little grouchy.
Hailey had a close encounter with a giraffe which we fed. She did not seem frightened at all even though the giraffe's tongue was the size of her head and came very close to her.
Her favorite part was the shark tank where she followed all the fish that swam by her. That exhibit is definitely the one that kept her attention the most.
