We took Hailey and Logan to the Pumpkin Patch at Pine Tree Apple Orchard. We took Hailey to the orchard last year but this was the first time to see the pumpkins. Hailey loved walking around the orchard but when we got to the pumpkin patch she was less excited.
First, the pumpkins themselves were not that interesting to her. Considering this is the same girl that went through a stage where she was always pointing to her toy pumpkin that hangs on her wall, repeating "pum" until you either lifted her up to it or took it down for her, this was a bit of a surprise.
Less surprising, although we had not thought of it before we got there, was that the uneven ground and the vines hindered her walking. Hailey likes to walk and usually deals well getting over obstacles but the patch was nothing but obstacles and she did not like that. Eventually we cut over to an orchard "road" and she was instantly much happier.
There are some signs on the side of his mouth that Logan's thrush is coming back.
