By the end of the day the Twin Cities recorded its fifth largest snowfall ever. The two closest "official" reports were Maplewood at 17 inches, Oakdale at 20. Our patio averaged between 18 and 23 inches.
We took the kids sledding around 10am in the thick of the storm. It was coming down too hard to take pictures at that time and the sledding did not last that long as the snow was just too soft. It went okay with just Hailey, but adding Logan to the sled made them prone to tipping or simply sliding off the back of the sled.
Late afternoon I shoveled and Hailey got a second chance to go outside.
Tonight Hailey said "Chris__tine" with a long pause in the middle.
Logan went up a size in sleep sacks to "Size Medium - 6 to 12 Months."
