Hailey was visited today by her nurse from Children's Home Care. She cried and cried during the blood draw. The initial prick is usually not the problem. The squeezing of her heel to get enough blood to fill the vile is the part that gets her going.
The nurse was very happy with her head control and her ability to almost roll over. The nurse had not seen her in a month so the changes were dramatic to her.
This evening we took Hailey outside without the need to bundle up as temperatures were still in the mid 60's. She opened her eyes a little more than on Saturday but only to look at us. She had no desire to look around at the world. Maybe next time.
Tonight Hailey triggered the music on her Fisher Price mat in her room for over thirty minutes straight. She used to bat at the plastic cat to get the music going but now she grabs the cat and pulls.
