Today was Ryan and Hailey's due date although being twins they most likely would have been born a few weeks ago had all gone well.
The downside of holding Hailey all the time became apparent after her last feeding of Saturday night when she liked the idea of going to sleep in her crib even less than she had before. Her pacifier plus her aquarium seemed to work but only until she would lose her pacifier. I ended up staying in her room, eventually falling asleep on the floor when finally losing her pacifier did not reignite the crying.
This morning we gave Hailey a bath. This was our first without a nurse standing by to assist. I think it's fair to say Hailey got mostly clean and never came close to drowning so overall it was a success.
We repeated much of yesterday's pattern and this evening are getting prepared for our first outing in the morning to Children's and Aspen.
As we are trying to put Hailey in her crib this evening we are facing the same crying game as we did after midnight last night.
It looks like we will be going to the doctor's without her having pooped since Tuesday. Hopefully we will get some answers in the morning.
