Hailey continues to get Ativan three to four times a day. Hydrocortisone treatments will likely continue for another week. Fentanyl, an analgesic, which according to Wikipedia is 81 times more potent than morphine, was discontinued yesterday. Iron is being added into the milk twice a day to avoid anemia, though transfusions may be needed for that as well.
Now some really good news. Today Hailey had her fifth head ultrasound and things looked better. There is a little less blood in the ventricles and the ventricles appear to be back to normal size.
