In addition to the surprise of Hailey's surgery being early today we also learned that her head ultrasound was moved up to yesterday. They had apparently done the ultrasound just before we got to the hospital yesterday. We were out of her room when the MD and nurse practitioner came by so that news never made it to us. The images look almost identical to last Friday. The bleeding has not spread. The bleeding appears to continue to be contained in the ventricles and has not flowed out to the brain tissue. The ventricles remain swollen; but, no more than they were on Friday. Neurology will also look at the images but most likely no action will be take at this time. |
