This was Christine's first day back at work. She went in for four hours and that seems to have gone well. She started work on a few of the tasks that had not been passed on to anyone else to look at over the past six weeks.
Ever since this past weekend Hailey has been getting a pacifier to suck on at most of her feedings (that continue to be through a tube). The idea is to get her to associate the two so she will want to breastfeed and/or suck on a bottle when the time comes.
Vent settings continue to be lowered. In fact her current vent cannot really go much lower which is why they intend to take her off of it tomorrow. She would still be getting oxygen but it would be through her nose.
This afternoon Hailey was visited by Kathy and then later by Jody.
We headed home early in hopes of getting a few things done around the house and getting a little extra sleep.
