Hailey had her eyes examined by Dr. Ramsey, who unfortunately agreed with last night's assessment that Hailey needs laser surgery and needs it soon. He examined her just before 2:00 and before 2:20 the surgery had already been lined up for a 3pm opening over at United. The results of the laser surgery will not be know for two to three weeks. The immediate concern for health will have little to do with the surgery itself but rather her reaction to the anesthesia. She is going to be re-intubated and put on the vent here at Children's and then taken over to United. |
