Hailey had another great day.
We spent quite a bit of time last night and this morning trying to clean and prepare the house for her eventual homecoming. Today we met the other practitioner from the green team. We talked over various scenarios about her leaving the hospital while still on oxygen, etc.
Yesterday she was given Lasix in order to get her to shed some water weight. It seems to have worked as she looks less puffy and she lost a little weight.
The quantity of milk she gets has now been increased to 38ml every three hours. She is also starting to get the hang of eating and is sometimes needing to get less than half of her normal quantity of milk through the feeding tube at those feedings where she also breastfeeds.
Hailey was visited this afternoon by her Grandpa Bruce, Uncle Craig and Aunt Terrie. We celebrated Craig & Terrie's birthdays, which were yesterday and today, with an afternoon lunch on The Liffey's terrace.
