Plans shifted once again. The C-R (Cardiorespiratory) Scan was moved up to tonight. The car seat and hearing tests could be tomorrow. Christine's overnight stay with Hailey has been postponed until tomorrow night. Friday is still the day Hailey could come home.
Today Christine was shown by the dietitian how to mix the milk fortifiers that Hailey will take via bottle twice a day.
The hospital has set up Hailey's first appointment with a pediatrician at our clinic for next Monday. They are also working on lining up her RSV shots.
Hailey's feeding tube came out today. She has also been taken off of her every three hour eating schedule being allowed to eat as little or as much as she wants, when she wants. It is still all being charted to see how much she eats when she is making the decisions vs. the old schedule.
Hailey was visited this afternoon by her Grandpa Bruce.
Hailey was hooked up to her C-R Scan equipment a little before 7pm tonight. The scan will be done around 7am, with the results analyzed by approximately noon tomorrow. She will be disturbed as little as possible during the scan. If it goes well the rest of the testing and discharge schedule will move forward. If she "fails" the scan everything will be delayed a few days.
With the scan running we headed out early to hit Sam's Club and Target before catching the end of the suspended Game 5 of the World Series on TiVo.
